Pollen???

Wow, I got home today and looked at my array. i saw what I thought was RUST!
I pulled out the ladder and looked closely at the light brown material. It looks like pollen. We've had nothing but rain rain rain this month and now two days REALLY nice weather I noticed this. About a 1/4" strip on the bottom of all the panels I have this light brown material, it is also spread evenly on the panels.

So do I wait for pollen season to be over and then clean the panels with soap and water?

    Wash 'em. Depending on what kind of pollen it is it can be quite sticky and act like glue. The panels will get dirtier and dirtier. You might have to wash them once a week for awhile.
