Hmm not a clicking noise. You sure it is not one of the relays or fan? That would not be good either.
You said new, is it new with warranty or new to you? If it has warranty, it would not hurt to get a case number and see what tech support has to say.
There is the normal electronics sound at various loads but that should be it. I have heard of, years back, a few had a wire connecting to the 80 pound toroid transformer that did not have RTV sealant causing a mechanical vibration.
