Anyone ever use them for battery ventilation? Brushless but has warning about explosive atmosphere. Thoughts.....

    Hi jallen,

Have never used an official Axial battery box vent fan.  Use natural convection,  here.

A Brushless Motor should not make any sparks.    There might be a remote chance,  that some electronic part that fails catastrophically,  might cause an unwanted event,  dunno.

Quite possibly,  the manufactures is just covering its tail.    FWIW,   Vic

I've used a brushless fan for several years.  My battery box is metal, sits outside, and is vented, but the fan not only prevents potential explosive gas buildup, but also helps cool the box.
