    The isobars are tight !  We just made the news in our little town Mariposa/Midpines. Biggest earthquake this year in the states.

    Mariposa has had: (M1.5 or greater)

    • 2 earthquakes today
    • 6 earthquakes in the past 7 days
    • 10 earthquakes in the past month
    • 132 earthquakes in the past year

    Yes on the rain, and we did just have 2 weeks of the 70's and so now we get to rock!
     The southern Sierra is still hurting big time for rain. The farmers are pumping it out of the ground faster than the rain can fall. New Mellones reservoir,  the southern sierra drains into is at 18% capacity.
    Not good at all for the summer. At lease they are not draining this one into the ocean, yet. Local rain is at 23.3 inches for the season.
