    No, it's not Greek. I understand greek. (OK, not really).

    But you made the point that I was trying to make. Once the electricity flows through a converter the values change.
    My difficulty in undertanding this stuff is I'm used to "REAL'" electricity. Electricity that makes sense.

    More, I am relying on my knowledge of electrical consumption as opposed to electrical supply.

    I get equally confused when the HVAC guy is trying to explain how many watts a human body produces and why we need a dedicated AC unit for our conference room.

    Yes, panels are a bit 'backward' to the usual electrical supply which is 'fixed' Voltage and varying current according to load.

    Humans don't produce too many Watts, but they sure can churn out BTU's. :D

    This is real electricity and it makes sense, too, once you grasp the fundamental concepts that underlie it all. It's not even different.
