There is a lot of leeway in the DC bus design. On my old Liebert if you completely disconnected the batteries (but still running and with an AC load on it) it would shoot up to about 302 volts before stopping. Haven't tried that with my current APC, but when it is running from the Prius it gets as high as 244 volts w/o any problems. I believe it goes as high as ~220 volts during a heavy charge cycle. Both UPSs are 192 volts nominal.
I have no doubt that 62 volts wouldn't phase it. Pun intended.

All the lights on the UPS start flashing. It really alarmed me the first time I saw it.
But it still runs, right?
Yes, it seems to work normally except for all the flashing lights.
