Series connecting & portable mounting Uni-Solar pvl-68's...

I've got 8 new Uni-Solar PVL-68's flex laminate panels...
http://www.altestore.com/mmsolar/others/PVL-68_Data.pdf
...with the MC3 connectors.

I need to make two separate sets out of them to where each
set of four flex panels is series connected together for 48 vdc.

What are my options for connecting them together in series?

Are there MC pig tailed connectors available, or would I have
to void warranty cutting panel connectors off and hard wiring?
Or, anything else possible to explore in wiring them in series?

On another question; I'm wanting, if possible, to be able to move
and position (or drape & hang) these 2 sets of 4 panels around a
large RV type vehicle for best exposure as it presents itself. Thus,
I'd like not to have them permanently mounted to vehicle, if even
possible, and could permanently mount them to a lighter fold over
backing surface, like tin roofing for their full length, or something
similar to provide more rigidity.

Any creative ideas on what others have found to work in trying
to make these UniSolar flex panels more portable moving around?

Thanks for any input.

I found MC3 connector wire online.. try google for that.. thats the only help I can give..

Most of the bigger solar places have it.. $15 on ebay for 10' length.. cut that extension in half to use to your combiner box from the panels maybe..

    Okay, I'm confused.
The panels already have MC3 connectors on them? Those are polarized: one is positive and one is negative. For a series connection you need only plug one into the next.

Could you possibly mean parallel connecting the resulting series strings?
Don't cut the connectors off if you can avoid it; it will void the warranty.
Although MC3 has been replaced by the locking MC4 connectors, NAWS or other companies may still have the MC3 interconnect wires and branch connectors available. It wouldn't hurt to ask them.

Gotcha, then run remaining negative at one end and remaining positive at other end to combiner box.
Thanks, for pointing out obvious, now that I think about it ;)
