Sometime "large scale" wind "doesn't work"

Seems Whistler is having a bit of trouble with BC Hydro over "The Eye of The Wind" turbine.

This is in contrast to an earlier announcement that it was up and running. So it's running, but it isn't.

Curiously, my famous brother-in-law is here just now talking to BC Hydro about control programming for grid management. Maybe his company will be updating its software to handle turbine power! :p

    Seems to be a rather dumb bit of purchasing. 'One of a kind' means the first one - not an easy sell to a utility.
