Disconnect

Hi -

For all that don't know what my project is, I'm building a little camper shell for my truck, putting a solar panel on the roof, sunsaver mppt in the shell, agm battery, etc. to run a few fans & lights, maybe water pump.

I will need to be able to remove the camper shell. It would be easiest to put in a plug in disconnect to the battery where the shell comes off of the truck, about at the edge of the truck bed, but it seems that the fewer connections the better so would it be better if I just disconnect the positive & negitive leads at the battery itself?

thank you

    Re: Disconnect

I think maybe an Anderson Connector would be a good way to go, they are really rugged.

    Re: Disconnect

    thanks Mike

messed up my right elbow yesterday moving stuff so I can use my trackball, but not type much (or well)

looks like a cool connector, added 4 to my cart so I'll have an extra pair

think that's all, now just got to get the camper started a bit before I order - I'm behind & impatient, this injury sucks!

(might be doing some residential solar installs with a guy I ran into at the hardware)
