Another array grounding ?
System

Hello- I have been following the other post on grounding but would like to ask some different questions. I will be roof mounting six 175 watt panels, and plan on using an outback pspv combiner box and an outback ps2 power system. I have been told a few different array grounding techniques such as: ground wire panels together and take to ground rod or take to combiner box then to ground rod. Outback says to wire ground into the dc box in power panel, then to ground rod. The ps2 is inside in my basement and I currently have a ground rod there from my current ac box. What should I do to ground this array? Thanks

Re: Another array grounding ?
that would be a question for either outback or the gudgels if they were to chime in here. i would advocate a way to keep a ground connection going to ground through the outside of a house if at all possible. i hessitate in giving specifics on a commercially made system as ground loops can be created that could be damaging to equipment.
