Wind turbine charge controller

Good day folks,
I wonder if I can use a MPPT 24 volt solar charge controller on my wind turbine are they interchangeable? Thanks for the feedback.8)

    It depends

Midnight Classic series and Morningstar MPPT 45 & 60, have WIND options. (which would also be HYDRO too)

But you have to look at the turbine output, and make sure the peaks/spikes NEVER exceed the allowable DC input voltage. Many turbines have multi-phase AC generators, which need to be rectified and filtered a bit, before a MPPT can use it.
