    We have 12 used GNB Absolyte IIP deep cycle batteries for sale in an ebay listings, links below. The opening bid is $250 each or a Buy It Now price of $400. Auction ends May 04, 201122:30:04 PDT or immediately via Buy It Now.

    They are surplus from a departing telecom tenant and we thought you might know someone who would want them for backup on a pv or wind project. They are located at 275 Decatur Street, Atlanta, Georgia 30312. See my ebay listing for details.

    Just a quick note to everyone--wddanielson@hotmail.com has posted deals on used batteries here before and, so far, we have allowed this as a service to the community (big telcom batteries at a low price).

    One warning on these batteries--If I read the listing correctly, they may have sat uncharged for ~5 years and have per cell voltages in the ~1.4 to 1.7 volt range.

    I have no experience with these batteries--but that is not a very good storage voltage (ideally over ~2.1 volts resting voltage?).

    So, in this case, a bidder may have some issues with sulphation.

    Again, just an observation on my part--no direct knowledge.
