I've been beating my head against a wall for a year now on how I was going to run wire for a 12 volt shurflo pump 70 plus feet. Oh my god, that would just not be feasible. But, I had inherited a new pump and was so short sited that I had tunnel vision. I was going to use that pump one way or the other.

Anyway, it literally just occurred to me that I could instead BUY an a/c version of the pump (park model) and eliminate the problem as I have a/c power at the pump location. Whew that was close. Could've spent a lot of time and mucho dinero on wire and conduit. I knew that and was still determined to figure out a way to use it. Stupid, stupid, stupid me.!!!

So, my question is about the a/c pump. Does anyone know what the start up draw is for the Shurflo Park Model RV pump 115 volt? It is rated at 0.9 amps max by Shurflo, but I suspect it is more to start it. I don't know. I'm working off a 300 watt inverter and really have to count my watts. Thanks.
