    Kind of strange numbers - 158,000 Mw considering an average capacity factor of 20% (half way between 10% and 35%) and 250 million people that would be about 3 kWh per person per day.

    No mention of storage to time shift wind energy from when it happens to when it is needed - possibly hours later.

    No mention of the problems utilities face as the percentage of intermittent power in the grid becomes larger (Texas wind).

    Kind of a nice green article. look at the point they want and then happily ignore the whole picture. That way they can feel they have solved the problem but others are holding up implementation.

    Compressed air storage seems to be the only storage method that is even close to becoming reality. H2 generation is still pie in the sky.
