Fusing charge controller

I am trying to answer a question for another person on another forum.

Long story short, she had a "professional" install an additional battery and Morningstar 10 amp controller and a KC135 watt panel. This "professional" used no fuses, anywhere.

I know My BlueSky CC said to install a fuse between the panel and CC and between the CC and batteries. I assume this is standard practice on every solar installation, and have said so, but thought I should check with the experts.

    Simple answer, fuse between the CC and the PV, and a Fuse between the battery and the CC. I like the BlueSea fuse and fuse holder for the battery, simple elegant solution. (You should also have a fuse(s) on any load side of the battery as well).
