Is there a device to turn loads on and off based on battery % full?

A friend has wind power (1KW) and a 24V 600AH battery bank. He is running four refrigerators and a few lights off the system. The rest of the house is on the grid. I don’t think he monitors the system every day and he has never checked the SG of the batteries (T105). He could be producing too much or too little. A battery monitor will help him with that. But, is there a way to automatically turn on or off a load based on battery %?

A couple of the Xantrex Linkxxx series Battery Monitors have a programmable output that can be programmed to turn on and off based on State of Charge.

There maybe others that have that capability too.

Some Charge Controllers (Outback FM and MX series? Others too?) also have the a programmable output which can turn on/off an output based on if the charger is in float mode. I don't know what other events they can be programmed for.
