I'm sorry if this is the wrong place to start this thread so maybe someone can suggest a better forum. Maybe we should even start a separate "forum" or "topic"?

I'm curious about investing in clean energy stocks and wondered if anyone has experience with such investing and what folks' thoughts are.

If this discussion should move elsewhere, would a moderator move it please. Thanks.

Tim

I will go ahead and move the thread to this forum:

Energy Alerts, Announcements, & News Editorials,, Solar RipOffs, Scam & Hype Alerts

It is as close to a "Cafe" discussion area as we have.

    Have at it folks!

my idea of investing in solar is to buy the products, but that's just me i guess. anyhow, i would suppose it would be like investing in any other thing that you decide who you want to invest in and call your broker or go to your online investment thing(for lack of better terminology). this link may be as close to along those lines as i'd probably ever get.

You take money out of your pocket, and put it into my pocket. Then, if enough people do that, I can buy the big machines that make solar panels, and sell them. If I make enough money, I give you a little bit back each year (dividend period). Then I go on big vacation trip, and talk to people about the solar machine. Then there is no more money left, and you deduct the loss on your income tax. I still have a nice car, and still know how to talk people into putting their money into my pocket. Looks like a good year for making wind machines....
