Panel mount plans

A friend wants to build his own metal mounting frame for 2 to 4 panels for a pole mount. He has welding equipment etc.

Does anyone know of plans/ schematics for such?

    You need the dimensions of the panels he is using, and where the hole mounts are.

    You can then look at pictures of pole mounts and get a rough idea of how the frame looks like. Many of them use the U- bracket to connect the flat metal to the pole.

    i couldn't tell you reliably either even though i made my wall mount. don't skimp on the materials as pvs can make for some heavy and dangerous sails. be aware of metal fatigue from any flexing that may occur too.
