    I saw those, it was funny reading the posting going along with that item. Some get it, some don't.

    The panel is 5w at 15v, so you shouldn't need a charge controller for a standard lead acid, BUT there is a good chance it wouldn't put out 15v in direct sun since it would be hot...

    For someone just connecting this to a battery and letting it go, not a bad deal. I bought the power squid on the regular woot ;)
