How big is a 0.70 kWh per day system ?

I worked out that I would need 0.70kwh per day and am trying to figure out what size system and size components I would need and ECT. Any help is great thanks .

Just to clarify, 0.70kwh/day is 700wh.

Would that be a small load (eg 30w) running for much of the day and night, or a larger load for short time (eg 1500w for 1/2hr)?

Is the load 120vac? If so, is it a purely resistive load (heat or incandescent light)?

What is your general location (for average solar resource availability).

Do you have a secondary means to charge in bad weather (eg generator), and if so, how long would you want to go before using it? A couple of days is typical.

It would be a larger load for short time it will b 120 vac it would be the ability to have the tv and Xbox going simultaneously if I wanted to

Xbox and tv probably isn't a particularly large load, but I'd suggest getting something like a "kill-a-watt" meter to check actual consumption.

Assuming the two are ~100w, something like a Morningstar 300w psw inverter might work well. Cheaper msw inverters likely won't play well with the tv or Xbox.

So the next piece is available solar insolation (location specific), and days of gloomy weather before firing up a generator.
