advice on inverter/charger

any recommendation on a 1000 or 1500 watt pure sine wave 24 volt inverter charger for a reasonable price..

    In that size range, you may want to consider separate inverter and charger.

    Samlex inverters seem to be well regarded on the forum. Charger would depends on your needs. I went with a pair of relative inexpensive Iotas on my 12v system as I charge that bank almost entirely with solar and only rarely for bulk charging with generator. Other applications may need 3-stage, power factor corrected, etc., charging.
    Off-grid.  
    Main daytime system ~4kw panels into 2xMNClassic150 370ah 48v bank 2xOutback 3548 inverter 120v + 240v autotransformer
    Night system ~1kw panels into 1xMNClassic150 700ah 12v bank morningstar 300w inverter

    It would seem there are very few to no pure sine wave inverter chargers below 2000W, only modified sine wave.
      1500W, 6× Schutten 250W Poly panels , Schneider 150 60 CC, Schneider SW 2524 inverter, 8×T105 GC 24V nominal

    I just use 2 BD smart 10a car chargers. Only need them a few times in Dec Jan . My battery bank is 7 years old.

    Eliminator is a brand sold by Canadian Tire, if I'm not mistaken, usually 12V and not an inverter charger for 24V, is this the reference?

    yea u are correct only 12 volt... and not a charger.. may go the inverter and separate charger route..
