Equalization

I have a Magnum 1000 sinewave and eight 6 volt Trojan batteries. How do I equalize if I don't have a switch on the inverter

Your charge controller should have the EQ function, not the inverter.  Use the inverters internal charger (if it has one) to bulk the batteries in the morning, and let solar take over for Absorb and then EQ ?
Does your inveter have a charger in it ?   Or use your generator and charger to bulk the batteries in the AM

Do you have or have the option to have a Magnum Remote Control Panel.  I would guess you need one to fine tune the inverter settings.

Remove the fuse or turn off the circuit breaker. You do have some form melt down protection ?
