Aeolos H-500W charge controller?

Hey everyone,

I already have an off-grid system of PV panels connected through their charge controller to a 24V battery system.
I want to add a wind generator as well, and i was thinking about Aeolos H-500W. My question is:
Since the max output of that wind turbine is 1000W, Ι am looking for an MPPT wind charge controller of 1000W, with a dump load option.
I am looking on sites as aliexpress, and the only thing I come across are hybrid charge controllers with max 800W wind output, like this one(sorry for the long link), which I think it will be catastrophic during a storm in the winter .

Can you suggest which charge controller I could use?  Please post a link or a brand name
Thanks

What controller does the manufacturer recommend? I'd start there.
Did you look at the store page here?

    You are in Athens, Greece?

There is an USA made product that would work, but not cheap (. This is the Clipper (dump load):

    https://www.solar-electric.com/miso1waactuc.html

And you would need an MPPT charge controller to go with it. Something like this:

I do not know if they have a European supplier:

    http://www.midnitesolar.com/index.php

Is wind really a good fit your location? And do you have a place to mount a 10-20 meter tall tower (or higher, if trees/buildings/terrain in area)?

I am not a fan of wind turbines--In general I think solar is less maintenance and a more consistent power source.

Hey Bill. I will check the links you have put there.
The place is located in front of the sea, 25 meters from the water. Its mostly windy and there aren't any trees blocking the wind as it is coming from the north or east usually, straight from the sea.

Is it possible to connect the wind turbine directly to the battery bank, using rectifier diodes, and then use a pwm controller as a dump load, that is connected from the battery bank to a heater/resistor?

Yes, most turbines do connect this way. The PWM controller dumps excess charging current to the resistor bank.

Using an mppt controller between the turbine and the battery bank can increase the output of the turbine (optimize turbine rpm, voltage, and current).
