    @mcgivor

    You may be right. There isn't much wire showing, and colours don't always show properly online, so it's hard to tell.

    Just mentioning it as it would sort of fit the symptoms of working for a while and then not. Also could be dangerous if not fixed.

    Here she is working again at full pace (2kW load) which I have running for small periods during the day to sink what would be unused energy into. this is a manual process automated with smart plugs

    Just a recap on the great comments

    1. Get rid of the white inner lining of the cable
    2. The Cable is DIN EN 60 228 Class 5 Tinned Copper

    so I think the cable is fine yes (after ive stripped the crappy white lining,

    Thanks once again

    Marc

    Tinned copper wire is fine.

    I don't know about leaving the white sheathing on. 3mm of exposed surface seems like not much to me. It wouldn't take much of a wiggle sticking the wire in while screwing it down to get a wonky connection. I don't see where it explicitly says to leave inner sheathing on, but the diagram sort of implies that.

    You might be able to tell by the shape of the metal mating surface inside the connector. It looks like a screw down curved plate/jaw sort of thing.

    Yes its implied rather than stated, I'll take it back out and see if I can get a photo of the mechanism, its too Awkward to just look.

    Bare 10mm of wire,   Leave a 3mm gap so you dont push it too far through and short something on the other side.

    Mike, Sounds like a plan, I suppose the diagram could also be interpreted that way. Thanks for the advice

    Stripped back the cable and then re-inserted leaving a 3mm gap at the top, Everything as normal fingers crossed that this is indeed what the problem was and that we have no further repeat :-)

    Good to hear you're back in business, not all cables have this inner plastic wrap, seemed strange, the 3 mm bit but as long as everything is working, that's a good thing.

    Se quitó el cable y luego se volvió a insertar, dejando un espacio de 3 mm en la parte superior. Todo, como dedos normales, cruzó que de hecho ese era el problema y que ya no tenemos que repetirlo :-)

    Hola, ¿puedes decirme si has tenido problemas con el inversor?
