Trace SW4048 not sync

Hey everyone,

I'm new to the whole alternative energy, I purchased a house with a whisper 500 turbine, EZ-wire charge controller, Trace SW4048 inverter/charger and 24 Rolls-s550 6v running 48v

Already I have sent one inverter up in smoke, don't know why but I replaced it with exact unit. 

Problem: I'm running LBX mode and the AC 1 green led just keeps blinking with inverter (on) or (sync). I'm trying to get it synced so I can top up and equalize my battery bank.
