Hi I would like to use my android tablet to monitor my controller.Is there any program out there for this application? thank you .aloha jeffhawaii

    Midnight has an app to monitor it's Classic series.
    Morningstar MPPT 60 has an internal web server, and any browser looking at it's IP address, can see it.
    But otherwise, most morningstar stuff wants serial or usb connections

    I don't know anything about Android or the capabilities of an Android tablet to connect to devices. One option to monitor your SunSaver MPPT using your Android tablet would be to setup a small computer like a Sheevaplug, Raspberry Pi, or Beaglebone to capture the data from the SunSaver and present it on a web page. If your Android tablet can directly connect to a USB device and you have some programming ability on Android, you could modify software to pull the data from the SunSaver when connected.

    I have a SheevaPlug that captures the data from my two SunSaver MPPTs and a SureSine-300 inverter every 5 minutes and posts the data on a web site I can view from any Internet-connected device. See: http://westyd1982.wordpress.com/ for the software examples.
