solar store

I have thought a lot of times about doing a small online store selling a limited set of gear like some deep cycle batts,
a few controllers and some solar pumps etc. Not a big comprehensive thing. I only need to make a part time income.
Anybody ever tried and what was it like..??? any comments ok...
