in Solar Beginners Corner #1
Hi all I have read a lot of the posts and have a couple of questions that I am hoping someone can advise me on.
I am looking at getting a grid tie system(none batteries.)
It Would be 5 kw system .
The panels would be split into 2 runs over to separate parts of the roof.they would both be facing the same direction though.question one am I. Better with 2 invertors one for each run?.
I also read on one of the threads about temperature considerations.i presume this doesn't need to be a consideration in the Carribbean forgot to add the system would be in the grenadines bwi.
Any help or other considerations greatly appreciated

    If both sets have equal exposure then one inverter should work fine.

    Temp is a factor and about the only thing you can do is to make sure you have adequate ventilation around the panels. Mine get pretty hot here in the AZ sun.

    The temp in some parts of Puerto Rico can be as low as 40 degrees although the lowest I have seen is 60 degrees.
