DC Distribution Panel

I'm putting a new set of batteries into an existing Off grid PV installation, and i want to clean up the wiring.

I'm considering using some Power Distribution Blocks to home-run individual wires from batteries, the inverter and the charge controllers (wind & sun in this system) to, (with fuses of course).

I'm looking at a terminal block made by Ferraz Shawmut (FSPDB3A). It has the current carrying capability and will handle the wire guages, but this block is intended for A/C distribution (ie. lots of branch circuits coming off a main feeder).

Can anyone thing of any reason not to use this do distribute DC in the system? Note this is not on the panel side, its basically tying the battery bank together and to the sources of charge/load.

i don't see why you couldn't use them. nice looking. try to use a rating of at least double that of the highest current that will flow as this helps keep resistive inequalities down some.
