    I've never seen my Iota 75 amp charger with IQ4 draw more than 1800 watts to charge my 660A FLA batts. My Honda EN2500 runs it quite nicely (along with a 700 watt toaster and other electronics at the same time). It usually draws in the low teens. You can extrapolate from there.

    Right. Unless you need to EQ the FLAs - then you have to have it.

    For the AGMs you don't need it - or even want it, since you can't tell it to *not* EQ.

    And EQing would be a pain, since you'd have to plug in the IQ4 and then wait 7 days for it to EQ.
