Anyone knows about a method to obtain the Daily Direct Normal Irradiance (DNI) from Daily Global or Daily Direct Irradiance??

    The PV Watts program has some listings for Chile/Santiago (+ three others)... The program is setup for solar electric--but you can get some monthly solar hours data--and you could back out the average daily solar irradiance from the detailed files.

    Here is a discussion how to download weather data for Santiago Chile--It may give you some ideas where you can obtain the data directly.
