Telco retires 3 yr old AGM batts... Is this a good deal?

A local telco is retiring lots of Fiamm Monolite 12 Fat 30.  They were pulled out of service in November 2006 and went into service November 2003.  They are sealed VRLA units that are 30 AH at the 8 hour rate down to a cell voltage of 1.75 VPC.  Here is a link to all kinds of info about them:

Any opinions on these?  I was thinking about using them as backup power to run florescent lights or small loads in case of power outage.  Also they might make great replacement batts for UPS's that I have laying around.  These are located in Kansas City, Missouri.

    yes they would be nice batteries for a backups for a pc. if they are selling them they should be very low pricewise or it would be more economical to get a standard leadacid new for the application. they do confuse me with saying 127ah in the beginning, but there's no doubt they are 30ah.
