rookie help

System

i built a water feature thats is about 3.5 ft high, and has a small water troft. i have left room to install a pump. i would like to install a solar panal that is about 65 ft away from the water feature. not sure how to make this happen. can i buy a pump from home depot and a solar panal from the internet, then run some 14 guage wire from the pump to the panel. i do not need a lot of water coming out of the water feature, a small trinkle will do, and if it runs only when the sun is out i am ok with that. any thoughts waht direction i should go?
