Solar Ideas for Iridium Recharger Panels

Options
I'd like some ideas on how I can use four Iridium phone solar charger panels #SPN4567A. Here's how each is rated:

Peak Voltage: 3.34 volts
Peak Current: 2.97 Amps
Peak Power: 9.9 Watts

I have four of these and I was thinking of using them to charge a 12 volt battery and power a small LED underwater pool light (see earlier Thread). Now I realize this might not be enough power.

Can you guys give me some ideas for an appropriate solar project around the home? I live in Phoenix AZ so we get a lot of sun. I realize these were designed to recharge a cell phone battery so I don't expect much. Still, if I can figure how to wire them in series and find a cheap controller I should be able to find a good use for them.

Thanks in advance.

Joe

you need to show the link to the post or thread that you refer to for the courtesy of those that you wish to have help by reading it.
on the matter of those small panels charging a 12v battery, i think you may have some trouble with it in doing that as i belive it may not have high enough voltages to do so. now if you can design around a 6v battery the voltages will handle it, but you would not have the ease of buying a controller for that voltage. most 12v pvs will have an open circuit voltage at 20+v and operating voltages at around 17v so if you could get more of those to place in series to come up with an appropriate voltage configuration, then.you can address such things as the battery capacity and what controller and if it can run your led for the lengths of time you need.
