Battery sweating

Checked the battery box today after a rainy night, no water in the box" thank my lucky stars" but I did notice what felt like sweat on the outside of my battery. Anybody ever notice batteries sweating, I'm probably going to add a fan in there soon. Thanks

has it been cold and then warmed up when it started to rain? If so it may be condensation on a cold battery.

I've seen this a few times. Always when the weather suddenly turns warmer than the batteries and high humidity. Think of taking a cold bottle of pickles out of the fridge and placing it on the table in room temp conditions. It steams up. Fan could actually make things worse, directing warmer (warmer than batteries) moist air on cold batteries.
Won't hurt the batteries and the condensation won't last long once the temperature reverses and the humidity falls off.

I get the same thing on my generator, it cools off at night, and then mid morning, it's all sweaty !
