Thanks for all your help my grid tie was activated by the engineer from the electrical co. 24-235W panels 8 KW Inverter running at 5435W 446V DC semi cloudy day. Still have 3 spare panels will see if I can add them if the voltage stays under 600V. This was a learning curve now on to the next one.8)

    Be careful with that. At dawn following the coldest possible night, the voltage will jump up to the temperature corrected Voc when the first light hits it and the cell temperature will still be whatever the low was. If that voltage is ever >600V, your inverter may be damaged and your warranty void.
