MC-T4 = MC connectors?

I am looking at buying some Schuco PV panles and the spec sheets indicate they use MC-T4 compatible connectors. Is a typical MC connector the same as a MC-T4? I just havent run into the T4 designation in the past although I do see references that it may be a UK specific connector?
