    The guys in the third picture took his sandals.
    Did you not know that going barefoot reduces the chances of localized flash burns when the voltage arcs through the shoe soles?
    And the guys in picture 3 are probably quite safe as long as the power system is ungrounded and they do not get too close to the wires. :(
