A major new study has quashed fears that onshore windfarms are causing long-term damage to bird populations, but found new evidence that some species are harmed when windfarms are built.

Just about any way that you make energy, store energy or transport energy has foes that complain and try to put roadblocks to stop anyone trying to supply our energy needs. These same people expect the lights to come on when they turn on the switch. They want gasoline to run the car and natural gas to heat thier homes. A lot of this stuff is coming from uninformed environmentalist that generate fears in the flock. Probably enough to say before it becomes a political football!! solarvic:D
