Xantrex SCP

I have a xw6048, 2 MPPT-60's and a System Control Panel.
The other day, the SCP, stopped showing any system information. The only
devices that show up on it is itself. Neither the inverter or the 2 SCC's show
up . I called Xantrex and the tech had not heard of this happening before so he
thought it was the SCP that was the problem. They are shipping me a new one.
What makes me question this is that I have Daniel Lenox's PowerDashboard
monitoring the system and it won't connect now either. If it is just the SCP wouldn't
PowerDashboard still work?

When all this happened the inverter stayed in "Sell to grid"mode and must have
been communicating with the SCC's. The next day it went back into "sell" again.
But, me, trying to figure out what to do, shut the inverter down to see if that
would maybe reset something. Well it did, it reset "sell" to off and now I can't
turn it back on without the SCP, the Tech says. Hopefully the new SCP will fix all.
Anybody have any thoughts on this?

I'd try disconnecting everything and add one device back at a time to see if there is something hosing the Xanbus

For starters, I would diconnect what ever is used for the PowerDashboard as that's not a Xantrex built or approved device.

Hi SG,
That was one of the first things I did. There was no change. The old SCP is on it's way back to Xantrex now so I won't know anything till the new one arrives.

The new SCP arrived today and all works fine again. The SCP was the problem.
